Two systems. We’ll specify the one your job actually wants.
Trad Deck is the familiar answer on many housebuilding plots. G-Deck Lite suits some projects where fast handling, steel rigidity and whole-area efficiency matter. We install both and can mix them on the same job where it makes sense.
Four steps. The same person from first call to final collection.
No account manager layer. No subcontracted crews. The people who assess your enquiry are the same people who plan the work, and whoever installs the deck comes back to dismantle it.

- 01
Enquire
Send us the drawings, site details and programme. We can usually measure and quote from that; if the job needs a closer look, Paul, Ewan or a senior surveyor will arrange a site survey.
- 02
Plan & RAMS
Method statement, risk assessment, CDM 2015-mapped RAMS and a delivery window before we book a crew.
- 03
Install
Two or three of our crew lay the deck in one visit. Joint Handover Certificate countersigned with your site manager.
- 04
Dismantle
A single planned visit when the trades above are finished. Every component inspected. Area handed back clean.
Decking the work, in the way the work actually runs.
Programmes differ across our four sectors. The deck doesn’t — but the way we sequence it, the way we phase delivery and the way we write your RAMS does.

Housebuilders
One pattern per plot type, one crew through the phase. Trad Deck on the standard plots, G-Deck Lite where it suits the area and programme.

Apartments
Repeat floorplates, fastest unit cost. We pattern the first floorplate and the rest of the block goes in to that pattern.

Paul or Ewan answer the phone.
Paul Darrington founded Graceland in 1996 and still runs the business day-to-day alongside Ewan Craig. Between them they will pick up the phone, assess the drawings, walk a site when needed and sign off a plan.
There is no middle layer. If the deck on your site needs a decision, the people making it are the people who have been in this category since it started.
Nationwide from a yard in St Neots.
Seven core counties on the doorstep, the rest of the UK scheduled around crew movements so you’re not paying for a dedicated visit.
The yard sits inside the road network that picks up the East of England and the Midlands. The same crew can be on a Cambridgeshire plot before lunch and a Hertfordshire site after it.

Safety decking prevents a fall. Crash decking arrests one. They are different categories of product, and the wrong one on your CDM file is a real problem.

Birdcage scaffold is still the right answer on some jobs. Safety decking is the right answer on most. Where each one wins, written by an installer who does not sell scaffold.
